Dr Ambrish Saxena has expertise in curriculum designing and syllabus making. Since the year 2000, he has been involved in this process in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Teeerthanker Mahaveer University (TMU) and other universities.

Dr Saxena has a futuristic approach and designs a course curriculum with a clear vision and foresight. In view of repetition of subjects in UG and PG programmes, he brought the innovative idea of specialisation in the second year of master’s programme in GGSIPU. Thus, 4 specialisations – Journalism, Corporate Communication, TV Production and New Media – were introduced in Master of Mass Media (MMM) programme in 2007.

I. BACHELOR’S PROGRAMME IN GGSIPU [UG: 2000 – 2006]

Actively involved for about four years, in course designing, syllabus making and periodic revision of syllabus of the undergraduate programme in journalism and mass communication

• As a member of the University Syllabus Committee contributed significantly in the curriculum design and syllabus making of BMC in the year 2000 and 2001
• As a member of the University Syllabus Committee contributed actively in the curriculum design and syllabus making of BJ (MC) in 2001 and 2002
• As University Course Coordinator for BJ (MC) programme (2003-2006) took the lead in the syllabus revision in 2005
